Delfin tournament

Home after 3 days of basketball and I'm exhausted!! Haven't played in forever and I forgot how much energy it takes. We won our first 4 games. The last one was... well... crap. We played like crap, the refs were crap.

Now I'm home, relaxing before work and going completely CRAZY over the fact that in less than 24h I'll be in Greece! I just love my life at moments like these!

Ready, Set, GO

I've had like a million people asking me what's up with all the traveling and why I can't stay in Finland. I'm a person who wants to see the world. I've spent 17 years of my life in Finland (I count one of my years as being spent in TX) and there are so many other places to visit!

I want to go to Venice and eat as much pasta as I possibly can, climb up the Eiffel tower, float in the dead sea, bungy jump in New Zealand, Surf in Australia, climb a mountain in Norway, see the Amazon in Brazil, have my breath taken away at the Grand Canyon, play on a slot machine in Las Vegas, go on a Safari in Africa.... and much, much, more!! And yes dad if you read this I know it's not cheap, and no I haven't asked you to pay for it! Haha. 

I'm an explorer, every place in this world has its ups and downs.. I know I'm extremely lucky to have two families that have shown me more than I could've ever asked for! The last time I was in Greece was when I was 5, it was the first time I ever went anywhere "far". I'm excited about going there again, it's going to be on a different island though.
Just 3 more days and I'm on an airplane again, with two of my best friends!

Maybe this will open some of y'alls eyes and maybe you'll just stop asking why I don't want to stay in Finland all the time? 

P.S. Today is like the first sunny day in like FOREVER..... (that's a reason enough to travel)

Had a really good time with my friends at the festival! I had to leave early since my alarm will wake me up at 6am to work... not so fun.
The weather was amazing (surprisingly) and I was just really happy!
Tomorrow's Katarina's birthday party, I'm so excited about the present I got her. Here's some pictures from tonight! None of me or my friends together and the ones I took of them, I doubt they would like me posting them here.

Thursday

I'm not having the best day today... I kept having nightmares all night and some of them were just so real. I hate when I get those crazy, vivid dreams. Seeing someones face so clearly that it feels like they're actually there. I don't know which one is worse.. Having the dream or waking up realizing that the people in it aren't there.

Today I'm going to my friends new apartment! We're making pizza and maybe going to DBTL afterwards.... I'm excited about hanging out with my basketball friends. Sometimes it's hard juggling between my friends at school and my teammates, but I do love them all!

Most importantly today's someone special's birthdaaaaaay! Finally turning 18 and becoming an adult (good luck with that one, I still feel like a kid).

Katarina is one of my oldest friends. She's been there for me at school and at basketball. She's shy at first, but when she opens up to you, she's one of the craziest persons I know! She's beautiful and smart and she hasn't worked out in a year and still looks like a supermodel!!!! Man, I want those long legs of hers. Please? Haha, she's always ready to help me and I know I can trust her with anything.

I love you and I hope your birthday is amazing! I know you have to work today, but on Saturday we'll make it one you'll never forget! :)
